它们都可以修饰不可数名词，但意思有点相反：
little指"很少"、"几乎没有"，表否定含义；
a little指"少量"、"有点儿"，表肯定含义。试比较：
There is little water in the glass. 杯子里没有多少水了。
There is a little water in the glass. 杯子里有点儿水。
a little还可修饰动词、形容词或副词。如：
I like chicken and eggs a little. 我有点喜欢鸡肉和鸡蛋。
I like to sleep a little longer in the morning. 我喜欢在早上久睡一会儿。
